Begonia maculata is an extremely popular, easy to care for houseplant. The large green leaves are accentuated by silver polka dots scattered throughout the leaf and red undersides. It can grow to a height of 2 feet or more in ideal conditions.
Light: This plant enjoys bright indirect light with high humidity. Direct sun can burn the leaves so this makes a great low light plant inside your home or in a shady spot in the garden.
Water: Water when the top 2" of soil is dry, and be sure to keep your Begonia away from drafts or cold places. You can pinch it back during growing season to encourage new growth, along with a bushier plant.
